Eyebrow’s history

Eyebrow's story begins a few kilometres south of where the village stands today. In 1904 a post office called Eyebrow Hill opened there, and the community grew up around that spot. In 1908 the name Eyebrow Hill was changed to Eskbank, and that early settlement is now an abandoned community.

The village itself took shape the same year. A post office called Eyebrow Station opened in 1908 a little to the north, and six months later it was renamed simply Eyebrow. Eyebrow was incorporated as a village on January 8, 1909.

Today Eyebrow sits at the crossing of Highway 367 and Highway 42, northwest of Moose Jaw. The Eyebrow Hills and Eye Lake lie just north of the village.
